With its coral sand, lagoons, and reefs fringed with coconut palms, the Zanzibar coastline is close to many people's idea of paradise. Dhows, distinctive Arab sailing vessels, add to the island’s history and charm. Diving among the Island’s coral reefs, numerous water sports, and day trips to nearby islands offer travelers wonderful activity options.
“Stone Town”, sometimes called the Venice of Africa, has a rich and intriguing history. For thousands of years, Arab and Persian sailors navigated the East African Coast landing in Zanzibar. There is also evidence of direct trade with China and India, all this contributing to its exotic spice trade. Walking tours of this fascinating area are recommended. A few of the many attractions include Forodhani Gardens, Omani Fort, Central Market, several mosques, and a slave market monument.

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN ZANZIBAR
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, met by our representative and transferred to the Old Stone Town. After a short rest, visit the old stone town with our guide. Overnight at the Tembo Hotel. Bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 2 - ZANZIBAR
After breakfast, transfer to the coast of the island. The rest of the afternoon is spent at leisure or you may opt for an excursion (activities are shown on separate cover). You may also opt for water sports activities – to be booked directly at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Matlai Zanzibar Boutique Hotel. Half board basis.
DAY 3 & 4 - ZANZIBAR
Full days are spent at leisure for relaxation. You may opt for excursions. Accommodation at Matlai Zanzibar Boutique Hotel. Half board basis.
DAY 5 - DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your flight out. (If you are connecting your international flights from Dar Es Salaam we will book a flight from Zanzibar to Dar).
